The approximate schedule for the day goes like this.

We'll meet around 11:30ish at King Albert Park to market for a bit.
Move the items to howkiat house, and slack for a little shit.
At around 2:45, we'll set off to Zoo.
The run will be at around 5ish, I believe
The event will probably ends at 7/8pm
We'll proceed to howkiat's place for bbq.
Disperse from thereeeeeeee

We have to collect our racepack, so might as well meet up for lunch as well. heehee! Non-runners are also invited to this dinner also, but they will miss out all the collection-fun.

The collection is at Velocity @ Novena Square, which is not really that accessible for us. We will have dinner there as well.

Instead of sleeping, I am now typing this at 0124hrs!
I can't contain the excitement to share this plan that Benjamin, Siow Yan and I have discussed about..

A gathering.

So what's the plan?
Let's have a movie marathon !!!
Ok, now you might be thinking about the place to hold such plans.

But first, is anybody up for the idea ?????????
We might have to see the number, then decide on the venue.
Benjamin says he doesn't mind it to be held at his place if the number is small.
Otherwise, we could book a hometeamNS chalet for a weekend night!!
People who are interested can go ahead with watching the movie, else they could find something else to do together. :) i.e. Card games, chats, anything.
AND WE CAN PLAY LASER QUEST THE NEXT DAY !! :D

We are thinking of a weekend in around 2nd or 3rd week of May.
Charges is $94.50 for weekends.
So unless there are 10 or more people going, we can't go ahead with Hometeam NS.

Whats even funnier is that when i went back school! There was these bunch of kids doing a video or "That Thing You Do!" Reminds me of the sec 2 dance competition, the dance that Yibin and Jason looked so funny in, with the cap and black long sleeve 2e5 tees. Ahhhhh my Npcc juniors told me this video was being spread around campus and i managed to get hold of it wakakaka. Sound quality may be questionable because it was taken using a camera phone. Jogging: Running for more vitality
Step by step toward good health – jogging has a lot of positive effects on your body and mind. However, there are a couple of basic rules you should keep in mind. These include coordinating your diet and the length of your jogging session, and possibly even getting the go-ahead from your doctor before you start.

Tip 1: Eat a light meal up to one hour before jogging, and drink lots of liquids afterwards.
Eat your last big meal no later than three hours prior to jogging, otherwise you might experience stitches in your side or nausea during your run. You can eat small, easily digestible meals up to one hour before you jog, such as a piece of fruit or a fruit bar. A good nutritional choice is SCHNEEKOPPE Cranberry-Cherry Fruit Bar, which contains 3 vitamins, magnesium, calcium and dextrose. It’s also crucial to drink an adequate amount of liquids. You can have a large glass of non-carbonated mineral water or fruit juice diluted with water 20 to 40 minutes before exercising. If you’re jogging for a long period or long distances, you should also drink some water during your jog. And be sure to drink plenty of liquids afterwards, too.

Tip 2: Don’t forget to warm up and cool down
If you first increase your body’s core temperature, you will decrease the risk of injuries. One way to warm up is to walk in place for five minutes. At the end of your workout, you need to gradually slow your pace and then do some stretching exercises.

Tip 3: Functional jogging apparel and good running shoes are a must
Many beginners dress too warmly and then can’t keep up their workout. The most suitable clothing to wear for jogging is functional apparel that is waterproof, breathable and adapts to the ambient temperature. Good running shoes are absolutely essential. Appropriate models vary depending on the surface that you jog on. A strong tread is more suited to forest soil, mud and snow. Shoes with a better cushioned sole can be used for running on asphalt. Consult a sporting goods store for advice on the right kind of shoe.

Tip 4: Jogging without panting
Another mistake that beginners make is to be over-enthusiastic and just take off running. After a few minutes, they are out of breath, and quickly lose interest in jogging. By using a heart rate monitor, you can find the pace that’s right for you. The German Olympics Sports Confederation has set a general guideline of 180 beats per minute minus age for the training heart rate. It recommends a heart rate of 120-130 for beginner joggers. A general breathing rule for jogging is to inhale for three steps, then exhale for three steps. Not every jogger can do this right from the beginning. That’s why beginners should take conscious, deliberate breaths, not shallow breaths, and then it will work. If you jog with a partner, you’ll know you’re breathing correctly and jogging at the right pace for you if you can hold a conversation with no difficulty.

Tip 5: Everyone runs differently
There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all jogging style. However, beginners should preferably roll the entire foot from heel to toe. This technique is easy on the muscles, tendons and joints. Your arms should be loose and bent beside your upper body and should swing back and forth as you move. Keep your hands loose and relaxed.

Tip 6: Train two to three times a week
You should jog two to three times a week in order to achieve a training effect. Depending on your level of fitness, you should increase your jogging time gradually. At the beginning, you should alternate between jogging and walking.

you all should know that it is 2 storeyed with the kitchen & dining area on the first floor.

I came across this great hangout place.. known as Pitstop Cafe. Been here with my D3 club mates, as a club outing...

Well, its a great place to hang out, have meals and play loads and loads of board games!I've actually tried 1 - 2 games and they're really fun!! Especially if everyone knows each other well! Just avoid the thinking games =x they're a real drag..

I seriously love the food there, esp the fish and chips! =x however... there's a down point..

Anyone wanna organize a outing next week?
2e5'o4 haven't been to East Coast as a group right?

Looking for a one-stop family fun site? It has to be East Coast Park. Located off the East Coast Parkway, the beach and landscaped terrains make East Coast Park a weekend favourite for Singaporeans.

Work up a sweat on the bike or on rollerblades, readily available for hire. If that’s not your cup of tea, there’s always the bowling alley, golf driving range, tennis complexes, a watersports centre and the East Coast Sailing Centre. And don’t forget to end your day with a lip-smacking feast of chili crab at a seafood restaurant by the beach!

So maybe we go there cycle, roller-blade, etc., then have our dinner there?

GCE 'O' Level Certificates for 2006 Bukit View candidates are available for collection at the school General Office from 23 April to 30 May 2007, on weekdays at 10am-12pm and 1pm-4:30pm.

Please note that an administrative fee of S$50 per certificate will be payable should there be any request for reprinting of certificates due to amendments in personal particulars.

But for the yearbooks, I'd think they'll be given along with the certs...

I've visited BVSS today for the cheer comp & as well as to collect the school yearbook.

However the staff said that the school hasn't received the certs from MOE yet, thus the yearbook will be given along with the O's cert, around Mid-May.

Looks like we'll have to wait...

If you've not known, Priya has left 2e5'04 on 25th March 2007, @ 8:30am for Canada.
FYI, Priya will be staying in Canada for 3 years before returning back to Singapore.
